The hole class introduced themselves then the teacher talked to us for 2 hours... it was obvious I needed to learn a lot more French as I was very lost!
Google translate helped to decode the handouts and it sounded a lot like interpretive dance!
2nd lesson lesson was Film with P.T.H
after sitting in the lesson for 2 hours and
it being similar to the 1st lesson we had,
Ethan came and explained the lesson to
us, a very nice student who had studied
in Huddersfield the previous year, he felt
sorry for us probably! After he explained
what the teacher was saying we realised
we were in fact in the wrong class! start this one next week!
4th lesson was Painting with Jocelyne, I learned how to use oil paints and created an abstract based on horizontal mark making. Really enjoyed this lesson again it was good that it was practical based.
Next lesson was Photo with Gabby. In the lesson was the 4 of us from England and Mariana from the Check Republic. Because of this gabby spoke half in English and half French, great teacher and this is my favourite lesson so far-
Photo taken of us outside the art school using a pin hole camera. Gabby moved half way through leaving the ghost image. Fran was moving hence the blurred image. and because the camera was made in a tin, it created this fish eye effect.
Gabby, lovely teacher with the 3 developing solutions
exposing the photos on the enlarger
